1-2-3-4- Give Me Five!
Posted on November 05th, 2008 in *Toddler, Math and Matching
I have to give my two year old credit for coming up with this game. I caught her making up this little game to teach her one year old sister to count - How cute!!!
- Hold up one finger, have your child hold up one finger, touch fingers and say ‘one’.
- Hold up two fingers, have child hold up two fingers, touch fingers and say ‘two’.
- Hold up three fingers, have child hold up three fingers, touch fingers and say ‘three’.
- Hold up four fingers, have child hold up four fingers, touch fingers and say ‘four’.
- Hold up five fingers, have child hold up five fingers, say Give Me Five and give each other a high five!
This is such a good use of senses to teach counting. Child will learn by sight, sound and touch.

Hi Melissa - I’m here following up on a visit you made to my patternbook blog. Thank you for stopping by!
I have to comment on this sweet game - what a clever and loving child your little girl must be! May God continue to bless you and your family.
