Use this activity to teach children how to cover a sneeze with a napkin.

Materials:

  • Paper plate
  • Wiggle eyes
  • Crayons
  • Construction paper
  • A tissue
  • Scissors
  • Stapler

Directions:

  1. Have children decorate their paper plates and draw a nose and mouth on the plate.
  2. Trace childs hand on construction paper and cut it out.
  3. Place a tissue over the drawn mouth with the cut out hand on top and staple it in place.
  4. Pull back the hand and tissue, sneeze and show child how they were covering thier mouths with the tissue when they sneezed.
