Adopt A Tree

Pick a tree outside and at various times of the year, spring, fall, winter and summer, take a picture your family outside by the tree. Point out how the tree looks different during each season and also the different clothing we wear during each season. Everyone will also enjoy seeing how they change throughout the seasons.

Neighborhood Walk

Get to know your neighborhood! Take your children on a walk around the neighborhood and point out different buildings - churches, post office, grocery stores etc…

Jesus Loves You

Hold up a mirror and have the children come up one at a time. As each child comes up and looks in the mirror, say, “this is (child’s name) and Jesus loves (child’s name) very much”.
