Blindfold children and feed them different kinds of food then have them guess what is being fed to them. Make sure that you are aware of all the children’s food allergies before doing this activity. The children may even decide they like some of the foods they may have refused to try earlier!

Make a chart of a list of healthy foods with pictures by the words then have children try those foods and have them chart their favourites. You can have the children use stickers or have them write (or help them write) their names.

Use toilet tissue rolls as stethoscopes. Have you and the children listen to each other’s heartbeats. Then have the children run or jump for a minute and then have the children listen to each other’s heartbeats again and notice the difference.
