Use this activity to teach children how to cover a sneeze with a napkin.Materials:

Paper plate
Wiggle eyes
Crayons
Construction paper
A tissue
Scissors
Stapler

Directions:

Have children decorate their paper plates and draw a nose and mouth on the plate.
Trace childs hand on construction paper and cut it out.
Place a tissue over the drawn mouth with the cut out hand on top and staple it in place.
Pull back the hand and tissue, sneeze and show child how they were covering thier mouths with the tissue when they sneezed.

Guess The Food

Blindfold children and feed them different kinds of food then have them guess what is being fed to them. Make sure that you are aware of all the children’s food allergies before doing this activity. The children may even decide they like some of the foods they may have refused to try earlier!

Graham Cracker Art

Your child can eat this piece of artwork!

All you need is a bowl of diced fruit and some graham crackers with a little peanut butter spread on them. Then have your child press fruit chunks into the peanut butter to create their nutritious edible piece of art. If your child is too young for peanut butter or allergic try some spreadable cheese instead.

Taste Test

Make a chart of a list of healthy foods with pictures by the words then have children try those foods and have them chart their favourites. You can have the children use stickers or have them write (or help them write) their names.
