  1. Walking – Most children learn to walk between 9 months to 18 months.
  2. Running – Usually a few months after learning how to walk.
  3. Jumping – Most children are able to jump by 2 and half years old.
  4. Balancing on one foot – Typically between 3 and half to 4 years old.
  5. Hopping on one foot -  Around 4 years old.
  6. Skipping – Usually between 4 to 6 years old.

  • Put a bell or some other noise maker into a container and cover that container plus two other containers with contact paper. These can be empty small milk cartons, margarine containers, baby food jars etc…
  • Shake the empty containers and then the container that has the noise maker. Look surprised and clap.
  • Have your baby shake the containers to find the one that makes noise. Act excited when he shakes the one that makes noise – your baby will love that!
  • For toddlers ask them to point to the container that makes noise.

Since it was nice and thick I called it ice cream. They were so excited that they didn’t even ask about the green colour. They both eagerly asked for seconds!

Here is how we made it:

  • 1 bunch spinach
  • 1 cup milk (I used lactaid since my girls are lactose intolerant)
  • 4 spoonfuls of Orange Juice concentrate.
  • 2 cups frozen strawberries.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Usually I want to add sugar to smoothies but this tasted really good without the sugar!
