I've no idea how our parents did it in years past when there were no movies to save the day. Good luck though! I wouldn't want to be making the trip you're going to do but sounds like you'll be prepared. Often we play "The Color Game" and my daughter has to find something a certain color or for higher levels, something that starts with a certain letter. These games last for a long time and don't require you to necessary "stay tuned" the whole time with them, lol. Good luck!
