Standing On One Foot

It is recommended that children learn how to stand on one foot for 5-10 seconds before entering kindergarten. Of course this is not a requirement but allowing for opportunities for your child to practice standing on one foot will encourage him to improve his coordination and motor skills abilities.
Make a game out of it by counting how many seconds you can stand on one foot then counting how many seconds your child can stand on one foot. Switch feet. Repeat a few times if the child still wants to continue.
